The upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, set for release on December 18, has arguably the most stacked line-up for any film of this century. The MCU is the most ambitious and successful franchise ever, and the Russo Brothers have used their extensive contact list to collect a line-up so packed with talent it's nearly impossible to imagine how they'll all fit into a coherent story. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, and Pedro Pascal all star in the film, and that's just scratching the surface.

Even with the most eye-watering cast list of any film in recent memory, some fans are still hungry to see more names involved in Avengers: Doomsday. One such name is Mark Ruffalo, who recently reprised his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the box office phenomenon Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Although he has yet to be officially announced as part of the case, The Hulk's impact on Doomsday has been confirmed by the Russos, who recently said, "[Banner] is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom. We will not confirm nor deny his appearance in Doomsday."

"The farthest we can go is to say there are characters and actors who have not been announced, who are a part of Doomsday," they added, in a statement that has sent MCU fans into a frenzy. One of the many ripples from this statement has been the sudden surge to the streaming summit for the new Prime Video arrival Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, in which Ruffalo reprises his role as Dylan Shrike, albeit in a cameo capacity. At the time of writing, the third Now You See Me movie has outperformed Reacher and spin-off Neagley to take

the Prime Video crown in the U.S.

How Much Did 'Now You See Me: Now You Don't' Make at the Box Office?

Made for $90 million, Now You See Me: Now You Don't was a quiet hit in 2025, earning a $243 million global haul, split between $62 million in domestic revenue and a further $181 million from overseas markets. The film featured a starry returning cast, including Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, and Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley, and was directed by Ruben Fleischer.
