2026 is a huge year for Quentin Tarantino fans, especially those who have been waiting not-so-patiently since 2019 for news of his next movie. Tarantino is returning to the big screen soon with the release of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood sequel starring Brad Pitt. Leonardo DiCaprio is not expected to return as Rick Dalton in the film, but other stars like Timothy Olyphant are coming back with newcomers such as Yahya Abdul-Mateen II also tapped for key roles. Tarantino isn’t directing the film, but he did write the script and recruit David Fincher to direct, which all but guarantees that his signature style will be maintained. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is coming to IMAX in November before a wide release on Netflix in December.
Part of what makes any Quentin Tarantino film feel like such an event is that he’s directed fewer movies than many of his counterpart directors from the same era. His directing career began back in the early 90s, and it didn’t take him long to direct a film that has held up as one of his all-time classics. We’re talking, of course, about Pulp Fiction, the 1994 crime thriller starring Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta opposite a host of other stars, including Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, and more. There are several ways to watch Pulp Fiction right now, including with a Paramount Plus or Prime Video subscription, or via the free streaming platform Pluto TV. However, Prime Video announced recently that the movie will not be streaming on the platform for much longer, meaning that the last day to watch it will be at the end of the month on October 31.
Here’s How Much ‘Pulp Fiction’ Made at the Box Office?
Quentin Tarantino directed Pulp Fiction on a shoestring budget of only $8 million, and it would have been nearly half as much if not for the late inclusion of Bruce Willis, who was still viewed as one of the biggest stars in the world at the time. However, the film could have cost 10 times as much and still been a profit, as it grossed $213 million at the box office, meaning it earned over 20x its production budget.
