Ryan Reynolds has given us some good movies, like the John Krasinski-directed family movie IF, Shawn Levy's The Adam Project, and Free Guy, along with some action-packed features like The Hitman's Bodyguard franchise, where he stars alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Netflix's Red Notice, starring alongside Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot, and Michael Bay's 6 Underground, among others. However, around the world, he is best known for playing Marvel's Merc with a Mouth, aka Deadpool.

With the Deadpool franchise, Reynolds has managed to build a loyal fanbase with his consistent effort to bring the character to the big screen. Not only did he dish out two brilliant R-rated movies, but when the character returned to Marvel after Disney's Fox acquisition, he made the franchise a fan favorite by bringing Hugh Jackman's Wolverine into the mix. Deadpool & Wolverine is easily counted among the best superhero movies ever, with its hilarious jokes, a platoon of Deadpool variants, ample gore, and a multiversal plot that complements the larger MCU.

The third feature follows Deadpool as the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse. He then unites with his would-be pal, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat. Directed by Levy, the movie became an R-rated billion-dollar hit when the universe was going through a low point. Levy brilliantly used a balance of familiar MCU touchpoints while keeping Deadpool and Wolverine in their standalone story. Deadpool's foul mouth played a big part in the movie's success, and the bloody moments only elevated it further. While fans are still eagerly waiting for the characters' reappearance on the big screen in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars, they are returning to it for some blood and gore as the spooky season approaches.

'Deadpool and Wolverine' Is Climbs Streaming Charts

Deadpool and Wolverine is at the ninth spot on Disney+'s top 10 charts, as per FlixPatrol. The feature stands tall in a list dominated by the Toy Story franchise, Pedro Pascal's The Mandalorian and Grogu, Hoppers, and The Devil Wears Prada 2, among others. While the MCU is set for a soft reboot after the events of Doomsday and Secret Wars, Deadpool seems to be a part of the new roster of upcoming heroes, including the X-Men. A fourth movie in the franchise is confirmed by Reynolds, but it's anyone's guess when and where Deadpool will appear next.
