Between his writing, directing, and acting, Quentin Tarantino has given the world some of the most iconic movies of all time, but fans are worried that his directorial career may have quietly already ended. Tarantino last directed a movie in 2019 with Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, and he got the most out of Brad Pitt, earning him his first ever Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Tarantino is famous for pulling the best performances out of his stars, as evidenced by the many actors who have won Oscars by starring in movies he's written or directed. The perfect example of this is Christoph Waltz, who has only been nominated for two Oscars in his career, and they both came in Quentin Tarantino-directed movies, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained — he won both awards.

Quentin Tarantino is famously against sequels, but he's breaking his long-standing tradition soon when he returns to the big screen for the first time in seven years for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. Brad Pitt is confirmed to return to his Oscar-winning role as Cliff Booth in the film, but Leonardo DiCaprio is not expected back as Rick Dalton. Tarantino did not direct The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, but he did write the script for the film and enlisted David Fincher to direct, so it should have all the feel of a Tarantino classic. After months of anticipation, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is set to be released on IMAX screens in less than 50 days, on November 25. The film will receive a wider global release on Netflix around a month later, after it's had some time to put together a run at the box office.

Who Else Stars on 'The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth'?

Peter Weller, best known for playing RoboCop in the original film series in the 1980s and 1990s, has been tapped for a key role in The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who recently scored an Emmy nomination for his performance in the first and only season of Marvel's Wonder Man, will also have a key role in the film. Additional cast members include Timothy Olyphant, who is back from Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, as well as Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, and Holt McCallany.
