Quentin Tarantino will live on forever as one of the most polarizing filmmakers of all time, but one of the few movies that he starred in and didn't direct is easier to watch than ever. For the first time since 2019, Tarantino fans have a new movie to be excited about. We're talking, of course, about The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, which is a sequel to 2019's Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. Brad Pitt is returning to star as Cliff Booth in the film, but Leonardo DiCaprio is not expected to reprise his role as Rick Dalton. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is coming to IMAX in November before receiving a global release on Netflix in December. Tarantino did not direct the film, but he did write the script and enlisted David Fincher (Se7en, The Social Network) to direct.

Back in 1996, two years after the debut of Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino helped Robert Kurtzman write the script for From Dusk Till Dawn, the contemporary Western directed by Robert Rodriguez. George Clooney stars in the film alongside Tarantino as the lethal Gecko brothers. 30 years on from the theatrical premiere of From Dusk Till Dawn, there is no shortage of ways to watch the movie on streaming. From Dusk Till Dawn is available to watch on both AMC+ and Peacock, but the film is also available to stream for free on Pluto TV. It's one of the most surprising flops of Tarantino's career, especially considering it came two years after Pulp Fiction — From Dusk Till Dawn grossed only $25 million at the box office against a $19 million budget.

What Is 'From Dusk Till Dawn' About?

In addition to Tarantino and Clooney, From Dusk Till Dawn also stars Harvey Keitel as Jacob Fuller, Juliette Lewis as Kate Fuller, Salma Hayek as Santanico Pandemonium, and Danny Trejo as Razor Charlie. The official synopsis for the film, which earned mediocre scores of 65% from critics and 76% from audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, reads as follows:

“On the run from a bank robbery that left several police officers dead, Seth Gecko (George Clooney) and his paranoid, loose-cannon brother, Richard (Quentin Tarantino), hightail it to the Mexican border. Kidnapping preacher Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) and his kids, the criminals sneak across the border in the family's RV and hole up in a topless bar. Unfortunately, the bar also happens to be home base for a gang of vampires, and the brothers and their hostages have to fight their way out.”
