Another month, another new expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. On Thursday, The Pokémon Company announced Deluxe Pack: Mega for the mobile digital card game.

Deluxe Pack: Mega will return several cards from past expansions, like July's Ruler of the Skies. It'll include a reissue of every four-diamond card from those past expansions. Opening a Deluxe Pack: Mega pack will guarantee you a Pokémon ex, so now's the time to add past cards to your collection.

Many cards include new artwork, and there are plenty of fancy foil ones to collect too. Take a gander at some of these beauties, including new Mega Charizard X backdrop art:

Various in-game changes are coming too toward the end of October.

  • A community decks feature will let you search for decks that other players have built. If you own all the cards, you can assemble them yourself too.

  • Rent decks from the latest booster packs for solo and versus battles. You can use them an unlimited number of times.

  • Pokémon TCG Pocket is discontinuing theme deck lists and deck missions.

  • Step-up battles are getting reworked. The current ones will be discontinued, meaning you'll no longer be able to get first-time rewards or battle tasks from them. Instead, a new solo-battle system is on the way.

  • Release Celebration: Poké Gold deals are going away as well.

More details will be shared closer to the update's release. Before then, Pokémon TCG Pocket's new Deluxe Pack: Mega set will be released on Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. EDT.
