Aside from his undeniably memorable performance in Mamma Mia!, Pierce Brosnan is at his best in a crime or spy flick. This is no more evident than in the recent return of MobLand, as Tom Hardy's Harry Da Souza, Brosnan's Conrad Harrigan, and the rest of Guy Ritchie's crew face an even grittier story that shifts to internal conflict. Kevin (Paddy Considine) believes his father is obsolete, leading to intergenerational warfare that's sure to explode into unmissable chaos over the next couple of months.

Helen Mirren, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon (Pistol), and more also star in the second season, which is already earning a positive response, with the premiere episode "I Wanna Be Your Dog" scoring an 8.2/10 average rating on IMDb. In Therese Lacson's review of the second season, she praises it for being a "clear evolution and maturation, showing that Ritchie is so much more than a one-trick pony and proving that there's still so much more that the auteur can offer." Ahead of the second episode's premiere this weekend, MobLand fans have been turning to another Brosnan crime flick to help get in the mood.

Right now on Paramount+, Brosnan's CIA thriller The November Man is one of the ten most-streamed movies in the U.S. Also featuring Luke Bracey and Olga Kurylenko, The November Man was released in 2014 and is based on Bill Granger's There Are No Spies, the seventh installment in his November Man novel series. The movie was directed by Roger Donaldson and marked a reunion between Donaldson and Brosnan, who had previously collaborated on the 1997 disaster action flick Dante's Peak.

What Is Pierce Brosnan Making Next?

From a second season of MobLand to a reboot of a 1993 Sylvester Stallone movie, Brosnan is certainly keeping busy. His next project will be a role in Jaume Collet-Serra's Cliffhanger, which also stars Baby Driver's Lily James, Franz Rogowski, and Nell Tiger Free. Although it was scheduled for release in February 2027, the acquisition of the U.S. distribution rights by Vertical moved its release along to Spring.
