Anne Hathaway's Dinosaur Thriller The End of Oak Street Gets Digital Release [Exclusive]

Forget Jurassic World: This summer's wildest prehistoric adventure is The End of Oak Street, a new action thriller that sees a quiet suburban street transported back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Now, after its theatrical run, the newest film from David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) is rampaging on to home video. Collider is proud to exclusively present a preview clip from The End of Oak Street's digital release, which is now available on all major video on demand platforms.

In The End of Oak Street, Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor play Greg and Denise Platt, a married couple struggling in 1982 Flowervale, Michigan. However, their personal challenges soon pale next to the do-or-die battles of the primordial jungle they and their neighbors suddenly find themselves in. Soon, the Platts and their children, Audrey and Brian (Maisy Stella and Christian Convery), are fighting for their lives against the prehistoric creatures that now stalk the neighborhood. Ewan McGregor presents the clip, which is from the special feature The Spinosaurus Attack: Driving Fear on Oak Street. It takes a look at the set piece that sees the Platts searching for their children, only to be waylaid by an enormous and hungry Spinosaurus. The Spinosaurus was a massive carnivorous dinosaur, larger than a Tyrannosaurus rex; some paleontologists have theorized that it largely subsisted on fish, but this one craves human flesh. Hathaway, special effects supervisor J.D. Schwalm, and stunt coordinator Mike Massa take a look at the scene, which combines automobile action with creature effects.

What Other Special Features Will Be Available With 'The End of Oak Street'?

The End of Oak Street will also come with two other special features: Banding Together: The Making of The End of Oak Street, which will go behind director Mitchell's vision for the film and how it was realized, and Every Creature Tells a Story: The Dinosaurs of Oak Street, which takes a look at famed special effects house ILM and their distinctive designs for the movie's prehistoric beasts. They'll also be available when The End of Oak Street is released on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 3.
